FRANÇOIS FELDMAN

MISSION

DIGITAL MARKETING

Marketing Digital / PR / TV / Radio / Internet

For his album “L’Origine”, François Feldman entrusted his press relations to our music promotion agency. Back on the disco-funk scene, we accompanied him on this project, from the press to the radio, via his website and French television.

Biography

François Feldman grew up in the suburbs of Paris and spent his teenage years in Clichy-sous-Bois between funk, soul and disco. He discovered James Brown at the age of ten when he released “Sex Machine” and was hooked by this funky universe ever since. Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder’s songs were to accompany James Brown throughout his adolescence.

Inspired by American disco-funk music, it was in that very same spirit that he recorded his first tracks with his band named “Yellow Hand”: “Can you feel it”, “You want every night”. Diamond album in 1991, he left his mark on French music from 1986 to 1994 and had the chance to set fire to Bercy and the Olympia during his career with Universal Music.

After a long break and far from the spotlight, François Feldman never stopped creating or making music. The king of French disco-funk from the 70s and 80s is back in the spotlight with a retro album full of nostalgia. Today, he returns to his roots with an entirely self-produced opus, featuring 10 original lyrics and a cover of his song “Can you feel it” in a duet with Guy Waku to mark this great return.
