Since 2020, the agency DOWEET has been managing the label’s social media marketing campaigns (on Spotify, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat & TikTok) as well as their influencer campaigns for their francophone and international artists.

In partnership with FNAC, Dooweet now oversees all of the label’s digital marketing.

Biography

BMG Entertainment (Bertelsmann Music Group), founded in 1987, was a major record label up until its merger with Sony Music Entertainment in 2005. In 2008, Sony Music Entertainment reacquired Bertelsmann’s holdings in the Sony BMG Music Entertainment label. Sony BMG Music Entertainment thereby became Sony Music.

The BMG label was recreated in 2009 by the Bertelsmann group, in order to focus on rights management (publishing). The new entity is now known as BMG Rights Management. Part music publisher part record label, BMG is positioning itself as a new type of music business for a new world. A new world which calls for transparent and fair agreements. A new world where supporting artists and writers is essential. They are positioning themselves as the only international company to combine publishing and recording under the same roof.
