Biography
An emblematic figure of reggae-dancehall and of a whole generation of young people in the French Overseas Territories and beyond, Admiral T is a true Caribbean icon. Admiral T, whose real name is Christy Campbell, was born on 29 March 1981 in Abymes, on the island of Guadeloupe. He is a singer-songwriter, producer, disc jockey and actor. Admiral T released his first album, Mozaïk Kréyòl, on 13 July 2003 on the Don’s Music label. From his track “Gwadada” in 2004 to “#DMTS” and “Chat Ka Tété Rat” featuring the late Jacob Desvarieux in 2020, Admiral T has been a key figure in his genre for almost 20 years with no less than 10 albums to his credit!
