After two years on the show, she moved to London to pursue an acting career in the theatre, then began writing her own song lyrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was spotted by the BMG record company and released her first album &#8220;Left Of The Middle\u201d in 1997. She had a worldwide success with the song &#8220;Torn&#8221; (a cover of the band Ednaswap) for which she received numerous awards such as the MTV Europe Music Award. After five more albums and a song co-written with Chris Martin of Coldplay, the Australian singer returns with &#8220;Firebird&#8221;, her latest album, released in
